Health Economics applies and develops economic theory and methods on issues related to people’s health. Several other disciplines study the same phenomena but use different approaches. Collaboration creates a specific value which goes beyond the contributions provided by each discipline.

CHEGU (Centre for Health Economics at the University of Gothenburg) is a "centre without walls" for collaboration in health economics among researchers from different disciplines, departments and schools. CHEGU also serves as a common contact body in relation to external interest groups. It was established by the Vice-Chancellor (Rektor) of the University of Gothenburg in October 2011.

On the CHEGU web site, you will find information on health economics activities taking place at the University of Gothenburg and collaborating organizations.
